Kinnon Church

Kinnon Church loves all kinds of music. Whether it's John Coltrane or Dua Lipa, Punch Brothers or Johann Sebastian Bach – they all pursue the goal of communicating with people.

In addition to his work with orchestras such as the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century, Concerto Köln, and the Dresden Festival Orchestra, Kinnon was previously active as a jazz musician in the USA. His current work is strongly influenced by his earlier experiences with bebop, folk music from Syria and Turkey, klezmer, pop-punk, and bluegrass.

Important teachers in his life include Dane Roberts, Axel Ruge, Erik Higgins, Craig Williamson, and Bronek Suchanek.

Kinnon is also a passionate coffee nerd and loves to play the viola da gamba and violone.

Kinnon Church has been a part of ensemble aisthesis since 2024.
