Florian Drexel

Bass Florian Drexel studied singing, song interpretation, and vocal pedagogy at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich.

In addition to his solo work on the opera and concert stage, his creative focus is on solo ensemble singing: since 2020, he has been the vocal foundation of the internationally renowned vocal ensemble “Die Singphoniker.” He also sings in various project ensembles throughout Germany and is a welcome guest as a substitute singer with the Bavarian Radio Choir, among others.

Florian Drexel is also active as a choir director; since 2012, he has led the Munich choir “vollton” and occasionally guest conducts project choirs such as “collegium:bratananium” in his hometown of Gauting near Munich.

Florian Drexel has been a member of SCHOLA HEIDELBERG since 2022.
