Karera Fujita

Karera Fujita is a Japanese soprano specializing in contemporary music and lieder. After completing her bachelor's degree in voice in Japan in 2016, she continued her studies in Germany, first at the Hamburg Conservatory and then at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts. There she completed her master's degree in new music singing with Prof. Angelika Luz in 2019 and her master's degree in song interpretation with Prof. Cornelis Witthoefft in 2022.

She made her debut in 2019 as Mia in the German premiere of Gerhard Stäbler's music theater Simon at the Schauburg Theater in Munich. Karera Fujita is a sought-after interpreter of contemporary music and regularly appears at international festivals. She also performs in various music theater productions and gives regular concerts with song programs in Europe and Japan.

Karera Fujita will perform with SCHOLA HEIDELBERG for the first time in 2026.
