Violine Subtitle
Clara Neumann studied violin in Cologne and Paris and moves with remarkable ease between contemporary music, chamber music, and experimental formats. Her playing is characterized by precision, a curiosity for sound, and a certain delight in calculated risk.
She has collaborated with various contemporary ensembles and is particularly interested in interdisciplinary projects in which music intersects with space, text, or electronics.
When she is not rehearsing, she collects scores featuring unusual performance instructions — “as quiet as a thought” is one of her favorites.
