Baritone Konstantin Paganetti, a regular participant in SCHOLA HEIDELBERG projects, won third prize at the 2023 International Schubert Lied Duo Competition in Dortmund alongside his duet partner Franziska Staubach. The two artfully combine Schubert’s lieder with contemporary song compositions by Wolfgang Witzenmann and Steffen Schleiermacher.

This concert will feature the world premieres of works by Schleiermacher and Witzenmann, including Witzenmann’s "Resedaduft," Schleiermacher’s "Lied zum teutschen Tanz," and "Der Kämpe." The program will also include Schubert’s "Der Einsame" and "Auf der Donau," as well as Robert Schumann’s "Dein Angesicht."
