Helene Böhme
Sopran
Coloratura soprano Helene Böhme studied singing at the Academy of Music in Darmstadt. Her diverse studies gave her the opportunity to participate in many opera productions, discover her love for delicate timbres such as French impressionism and bossa nova, introduce herself at the Forum Junge Solisten (Young Soloists Forum) at the Tage für Aktuelle Musik (Days of Contemporary Music), and ultimately establish contact with Petra Lang, who has been her vocal coach ever since.
Her concert activities with various ensembles such as LauschWerk have taken her to stages from Hamburg to Bamberg, Luxembourg, Munich, and beyond. She sang under Kent Nagano at the Elbphilharmonie and under Vladimir Jurowski at the Bavarian State Opera as a cover for a role that captivates with high notes up to A3. Most recently, she appeared at the Staatstheater Darmstadt in the world premiere of the opera Otze Axt, at the Kinderoper München as the Queen of the Night, and in Pergolesi's Stabat mater at St. Georg in Bensheim.
She will perform with KlangForum Heidelberg for the first time in 2026.
