SCHOLA HEIDELBERG
ensemble aisthesis
In Feldman’s work – created in memory of the American painter Mark Rothko – haunting, meditative music emerges from the colors of a chapel designed by Rothko. "Summen", the opening piano song by Stuttgart composer Jan Kopp, also employs closed-mouth vocal techniques. Two Gesualdo madrigals and the world premiere of a work by the Spanish composer Hortigüela from the "Netzwerk Madrigal" project bring additional vocal colors to the evening concert.
